Loverboy ended the 2005 Canada Day Celebrations with a sold out concert at the Halifax Casino. This outdoor concert had a chill in the air but Loverboy raised the temperature with their solid 2 hr set.
They arrived right on time at 8 pm and started off the concert with The Kid is Hot Tonite. Loverboy finished the evening with an encore performance of a new song which is sure to be a future hit and Lovin' Every Minute of It. Another highlight for me was when Spider was spotlighted with a solo of Highway Isolation from his Streetheart days.

In-between 8 pm and the final encore they played everything from Working for the Weekend to Notorious. With so many great songs they are bound to leave someone's favorite out, but Get Lucky for me they did every song I would have wanted.
Mike, Paul, Matt, Doug & Spider performed the best concert I have ever seen. Best of all is that each one of them made you feel like a friend once you had the chance to meet them after the show.

Let's hope Halifax will be a regular stop with future Loverboy tours!
Always working for the weekend!
