Dateline Vancouver, BC: On the brink of another holiday season, the Christmas spirits have found us very hard at work on album number 5. We are recording here in Vancouver at Little Mountain Studios with our producer Bruce Fairbairn, and are hoping to have everything wrapped up in time for a little eggnog with Santa!
Holiday plans are still being made, but most of us are hoping to get away to some warm weather over the holidays. DOUG JOHNSON is house hunting and spending Christmas with his family here in Vancouver. PAUL DEAN will be "living" in the studio, ensuring the new album is absolutely perfect. His plans are for a quiet, family Christmas at home. MATT FRENETTE might be following in my footsteps and buying a horse...I got one and have been doing a lot of riding to keep in shape. I really like it. After trail rides, MATT hopes to get down to Palm Springs to golf and relax after Christmas. MIKE RENO is having the Christmas party to end all Christmas parties (in true LOVERBOY tradition). I will be heading down to the Caribbean to cruise my boat "NIGHTHAWK" through the islands and plan to travel from Antigua to the Barbados. The rest of the guys are planning to join me sometime in January. We are counting on that as our chance to relax; because come February, we will be rehearsing in preparation for our tour in 1987.
